About

I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which I live and practice and pay my respect to Elders - past, present and emerging - and acknowledge the important role Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within my community.

Yin Lu is a 26-year-old Chinese Australian visual artist, arts and crafts teacher and muralist based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Significantly inspired by her Chinese heritage, her artistic practice uses a bold and contrasting style to express and amplify her cultural identity. With influences as diverse as Western art and Eastern aesthetics, new insights are synthesised with respect to both natural and historical perspectives.

卢茵的的绘画创作深受其中国血脉与文化背景的影响。从油画、丙烯画、壁画到综合材料，她用大胆而对比鲜明的艺术风格来彰显她的文化归属。她的艺术作品深受东西方艺术美学的共同启发，诠释出其独特的多元文化观。

Yin Lu's lightboxes are currently on display at Fish Lane, and her artworks are also displayed at Fish Lane - Town Square Vitrines and Edmonstone Street (Billykart), Botanica Residences, South Brisbane, as part of , an exhibition with Brisbane City Council.
This Outdoor Gallery exhibition runs from Friday 9 September 2022 - Sunday 16 April 2023.
布里斯班市议会积极打造的长达7个月展示时间的由灯箱、横幅、橱窗、夜间投影组成的 “PLAY/GROUND OUTDOOR GALLERY户外画廊”项目展示时间段: 2022年9月9日～2023年4月16日。
